Hi there! Thanks for visiting.
I’m a Melbourne-based writer, editor and content creator.
I’ve worked with words and publications since landing my first “real job” as a journalist shortly after university.
When I write — regardless of the topic or publication — the aim is the same: to tell interesting stories and provide information that matters to the audience.
I’ve written for a bunch of print and online publications for both mainstream media and corporate companies.
It generally works like this. I get the topic or idea, and then research and conduct interviews to find the best angle. Then it’s about crafting the words into content, feature articles or profile pieces.
In nearly 20 years of writing (time flies when you’re having fun, hey?) I’ve covered a host of topics and industries.
I’ve written about the business, finance and HR/workplace arenas, as well as for health and medical publications. I’ve also tapped into the zeitgeist, lifestyle and wellbeing niches.
This means I’m just as comfortable taking to a famous actor or business leader as I am speaking to a turkey farmer or ballet teacher.
In fact, generally, I find all my interview subjects to be equally interesting. Everyone has a story to tell and there’s many ways to tell it.
There are some rules though. And these apply whether I’m writing for an editor or a marketing manager.
I produce engaging, accurate and clean copy to brief. On deadline, always.
